Bring A Friend Sunday 2010 has now come and gone but the gospel that has gone out, may it serve all those who heard well.
We heard from 2 puppets, one who really liked eating pizza or something... and another who liked purple chupa chumps, that God's Team is the best team, the greatest team, the team that lasts forever - and theres only one way and thats through God's Son to be on the team that lasts forever.
Jesus who is God's son puts us back on God's team as we trust in him, becuase his death on the cross and ressurection from the grave took away the sin that kept us from God's team.
The kids then saw that it didnt matter if you were the best player, if you looked like a professional, or if you tried really really hard, but that it's through believing in Jesus that you are on God's team and not through your own ability, looks, or your effort.
It was good to see so many new faces, kids and parents - and i hope that this wont be the first and last time, but that these new relationships may grow into eternal life long relationships.
John3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son (Jesus), that whoever believes in him (Jesus) shall not perish but have eternal life.
The kids in the primary Sunday School made these creatures (much like the puppets in the show) to show that you can be all shapes, sizes, colours, and it didnt matter how many eyes you have, as long as you trust in Jesus, you can be on God's team.
Other activities were planned for the infants Sunday School and it looked just as meaningful and just as fun if not more (but really, im bias and the primary Sunday School is the best :D)
I have put some pictures of the craft that the kids made and how i long for when my creativity and imagination would be renewed to that of these young ones... im boring now :(
May God continue to bless you all.
